Training Opportunities 
IRS Tax Preparer VITA Certification - Beginning in December 2009, to become certified you must attend 20 hours of IRS tax law and Tax Wise software training and 4 hours of practice and testing. Training Schedule Click Here
VITA Site Greeter Training - 2 hour of training will be offered on various days in Volusia and Flagler County during January. No certification or testing is required. Training will consist of procedures for obtaining and organizing tax documents, discussing savings opportunities, and for providing overall support to the Tax Preparers and Site Coordinator while insuring each client is served in a timely and orderly manner.
Volunteer Signup for 2009-2010 VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program is now open. If you would like to be contacted for the 2009-2010 Tax Season, please complete the Volunteer Form found by clicking on the "Volunteer" Link.
FDIC Money Smart Certification - This 1 day train-the-trainer session is offered and supported by the FDIC. Next session is scheduled for February 2010. Classes are arranged when 10 or more volunteers express interest and have identified an organization in the community interested in sponsoring a class for their employees, clients or members who can benefit from the Money Smart Training.
